Well qualified for the task of pointing out authoritatively what is wrong with school sex education, Dr. Anchell has been in the private practice of medicine and psychiatry since 1948 and has written over fifteen articles and four books on pornography and sex education.

He warns that sex education, not only contradicts the normal sexual development of youngsters, but actually leads them into sexual involvement when, if left undisturbed by physical and mental molesters (read sex educators), they would remain chaste throughout puberty and adolescence. Furthermore, experience has proven that such chaste adolescent relationships are essential to a happily fulfilled married life. Isn't it obvious that "there can be no compromise? ... Free love and [sexual] perversions promoted by school sex programs cannot exist side by side with mature love and family life. Each destroys the other" (p. 51).

It is also an obvious fact that school sex educators break down parental authority along with the values imparted by parents to their children. Pointedly he quotes Helen Deutsch's Psychology of Women: "in our social structure built up over hundreds of years, the family constitutes the individual's first environment ... Cultural factors can, nevertheless, be so powerful that they extensively modify human behavior." And there is nothing quite so powerful in this regard as having your parents put down in the open classroom and yourself being made to feel a nincompoop for following their norms.

As opposed to what is being purveyed through classroom sex education, Anchell staunchly insists on two conclusions: "The first is that for the continued existence of life-sustaining sex which completely depends upon 'affectionate, monogamous, man/woman, longlasting love relationship', it is necessary to eradicate today's psychological sexual diseases as it is to eradicate today's physical sexual diseases such as AIDS. And secondly, for the survival of a civilization based on families composed of individuals living by consciences instead of barbarians living by instincts only, it is essential that sexual decency be maintained, not only in our homes, but also in the schools to which we send our children" (p. 53).

In other words, if you want to succeed in raising your children for a happy and holy marriage, you had better become informed about what is going on in the schools and start raising your voice and vote against school purveyed pornography!
